Behind the Scenes: A Mini Collection + A Season of Creative Recharge

This month looked a little different for me.
Instead of long design days and checking off business to-do lists, I found myself pouring into other areas of life—volunteering, spending time with family, doing some much-needed inner work, and preparing for an upcoming vacation.
And honestly? It was exactly what I needed.
As creatives, it’s easy to feel like we always need to be producing something—new patterns, new products, new ideas. But I’m learning that creativity doesn’t only happen at the desk. Sometimes it grows quietly in the background, shaped by the way we live, what we experience, and how we take care of ourselves.
This season has been a reminder that rest, reflection, and real life moments are just as important as the work itself.
A Creative Recharge
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been allowing myself to step back a bit.
Not completely—but enough to breathe.
I’ve spent time giving back through volunteer work, connecting more deeply with the people around me, and creating space mentally and emotionally. Those moments may not look “productive” on the surface, but they’ve been incredibly grounding—and surprisingly inspiring.
Because when I slow down, I start to notice more:
colors, textures, patterns in everyday life…
the way things feel, not just how they look.
And that always finds its way back into my work.
A Peek at My Latest Mini Collection
Even in a slower season, creativity still showed up.
I found myself sketching here and there—no pressure, no strict plan—and a small collection began to take shape. This mini collection reflects where I am right now: calm, grounded, and quietly inspired.
You’ll see:
soft but intentional color choices
a balance of structure and flow
modern, abstract elements mixed with subtle organic forms
These designs feel like a gentle pause… but also a beginning.
I can already imagine them living beautifully across fabric, stationery, and everyday products—bringing a sense of ease and inspiration into daily life.

Creativity Beyond the Desk
This month reminded me that creativity isn’t just something I do—it’s something I live.
It shows up in:
the way I spend my time
the experiences I say yes to
the space I give myself to grow
And sometimes, stepping away is exactly what allows us to come back with fresh perspective and renewed energy.
What’s Next
As I head into this next season (and a little vacation time), I’m feeling refreshed and inspired to keep building—at a pace that feels sustainable and aligned.
More designs, more storytelling, and more intention behind everything I create.
